The Botox treatment was started by a German doctor in 1822. Botox injections are used to balance the muscles and decrease the wrinkles on the forehead, between eyebrows, and around the eyes. It is approved by the FDA of the United States of America and is used in over 80 countries. It is also used to make the face look smaller by injecting around the face line and chin. It may also be used to prevent excessive sweating and reducing body odor under your arms. We are using the Botox from the United States of America called “Allergan” which is approved by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Thailand.

Effect

Decreasing the wrinkles on the forehead, between eyebrows, and around eyes

Lifting and making the face look smaller

Prevention of excessive sweating and reducing body odor under arms

Procedure of the treatment

The Botox will be injected directly into your skin. If you are worried about pain, please consult the doctor. There is an anesthetic cream which can be used to reduce the pain. You will be deciding with the doctor where you want to and how much you want to inject, depending on how you want to look. 2 weeks after the injection, you will consult the doctor again for a follow-up session and see if you want to add more. Right after the injection, you may feel like your skin is a little heavy or awkward. After the treatment, you may wash your face and put on make up 4 hours after the treatment. It is recommended that the botox treatment be injected every 4 to 6 months depending on your skin condition. As you continue the treatment, your skin will adapt and the wrinkles will decrease.
